This site is dedicated to Monty - a beautiful English Shepherd mix. He was found wandering around a national park in Montana very hungry, with tar in his fur,and a couple of bleeding paws. He started training with American Assistance Dogs (www.americanassistancedogs.com) as a service dog but was released. This site not only documents all the training and hard work but also what happens when a service dog doesn't make it. Monty was adopted by his trainer and her dog - Nancy and Gunther.
